Mothers Day Dinner-Parenting in the Digital Era

Rubies Rock Consults will be hosting a Mother’s Day Dinner on Saturday, 11th May 2024 at Protea Hotel by Marriott Kampala Skyz, Uganda from 04.00pm till 09.00pm, with the theme ‘Parenting in the Digital Era’.

■We aim to host 200 women from diverse backgrounds. As we walk the talk of work life balance, the event is open to women who consider themselves to be nurturers. We welcome career mothers, angel moms, waiting wombs, godmothers, birth moms as well as ‘super aunties’.

During the dinner, we will have thought- leadership speakers engaging in informative discussion on   ‘Navigating parenting in the digital age’ & ‘pre/post birth wellness for mothers’.

2.Bonding with preteens in readiness for teenage years by Lindsay Kinkuhaire. Executive Director. Break Free Mental Health & Rehabilitation Centre- Uganda.

3.Personal Branding for Mothers by Sheila Toya. Founder- Parenting Teens- Kenya & Author- Finding The True You.

■Keynote address will be on '0-13 years Parenting in the Digital Age' by Omega Okello. Early   Childhood Parenting Specialist-South Africa.

■Fireside Chat will be on 'Technology & Parenting'. Gaining an understanding  on data protection &   privacy, when it comes to parenting & child exposure. Cybersecurity & cyberbullying. Artificial   Intelligence impact on digital footprint. Practical tools on how to navigate & manage children   presence digitally & measures to put in place for their digital interaction.
