Alan, a writer, in a bid to get a story for his new play after his previous production bombed, pretends to have killed his best friend Patrick. Eve, his wife, after being told thus, involuntarily admits to have cheated on Alan with Patrick.
Patrick's wife Emma ...who has just found out about Patrick's infidelity, comes to seek emotional support from Eve unaware that she's the woman who Patrick cheated with.
