All is well in the house until a conman, “smooth-talking” brother-in-law (Maina Olwenya), returns home from prison to his sister’s house at the discomfort of everyone in the house. He, however, insists on staying at his sister’s house amidst open protestations from the sister’s husband, Jusper (Robert Agengo). The sister (Janet Kirina), who is actually BLIND, is occasionally forced to come to his defense. Stories are improvised and schemes are laid…at some point another ex-prisoner (Bilal Mwaura Ng’ang’a) staggers onto the scene, but disguised under a very different profession.
Other dramatic ingredients include: priceless gems, with wild plans to steal, re-steal and un-steal them that go awry. Lined up for conning are a bank manager played by Juma 'Anderson' Williams, Jewellery expert played by Diana Kubebea, Jusper’s sister (who's heart he must steal as well) played by Rosemary Waweru. 9-11 October at Kenya National Theatre. This is one show you miss and you regret for life!
The show will start on Friday at 6&8 pm, Saturday 6&8 pm and on Sunday at 3&6 pm.
