 Peter Manson Ouko- USING SETBACKS AS LAUNCHPADS FOR CHANGE

Peter Ouko is the founder of Crime Si Poa (Crime is Not Cool). With crime incorporated taking on a global and frightening perspective, Peter will take us through the activities undertaken by his brilliant organization while also sharing with us an insiders view on particular 'danger zones'.

Julie Church- A GOOD AND UNUSUAL BUSINESS TALK

Julie Church is a qualified marine biologist and founder of Ocean Sole. She is one of the world’s experts on coral fish and has dedicated her entire career to the ocean. Along beaches anywhere in the world there is a grotesque amount of washed-up plastic and bizarrely thousands upon thousands of flip-flops! Julie will present on Ocean Sole and the resourcefulness and creativity of people in Africa to clean up the beaches and remove harmful debris that threatens marine ecosystems.

Bernadette Murgor- GETTING THE MESSAGE TO THE GROUND WILL TURN AROUND FORTUNES

Bernadette Murgor is a social sciences graduate from the Kenyatta University, editor, journalist and publisher of the Smart Farmer Magazine and Smart Farmer Flower Edition and is widely experienced in the Kenyan media circles. Bernadette will present on the importance of providing informative and quality information to the agricultural sector as a tool for poverty alleviation.

Peggy Mativo- EXTRAORDINARY: Schools as platforms to pull the extra out of the ordinary.

Peggy Mativo is a recent graduate of Harvard University and founder of PACE. She has won the Clinton Global Initiate University Commitment of the Year Award and is an associate of the Harambee Entrepreneurial Alliance. Peggy believes that young people have the ability to spark the transformations that society needs and for her, it all begins in the classroom.

Helen Kinuthia- QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAINS

Helen Kinuthia is a young female entrepreneur born in Nairobi and her underlying motto is that "Life is about more than just getting by but having the ability to overcome adversity and achieve our own personal goals". In her talk Helen will speak about her incredible journey towards attaining her dream and how she managed to get there.

Ferny Verwiel- SMILES FOR CHANGE

Ferny believes that Art is a powerful tool that can be used for healing and bringing a change in one’s life. Ferny will speak about the incredible work she has been doing with the Sarakasi Hospital Trust on creating awareness on the importance of laughter as a tool towards positive healing.
