In the last 7 years, 897 elephants and 129 rhinos have been killed due to poaching in Kenya alone. In 1989 the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora banned international trade in ivory to combat this massive illegal trade. Yet, today, poaching and illegal trade of ivory is taking place in East Africa and our Elephants are in grave danger of becoming extinct! We need your help to put pressure on government to do more to stop the poaching!
